Delivery availability and pricing may vary based on location, container size, and site access.


Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

  • Standard containers: 3–14 business days after order confirmation
  • Custom container modifications: Timelines vary based on project scope and will be confirmed before production begins

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by weather, logistics availability, permitting, or site access conditions.


Delivery Scheduling

  • Customers will be contacted to schedule delivery once the container is ready
  • Delivery dates are confirmed in advance when possible
  • Someone 18 years or older must be present at delivery to accept the container

Missed or rescheduled deliveries may result in additional fees.


Site & Access Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible and prepared.

Please ensure:
✔ Clear access for delivery trucks
✔ Firm, level ground for placement
✔ Adequate space for offloading
✔ No overhead obstructions (trees, wires, structures)

Failure to meet site requirements may result in delivery refusal or additional charges.


Delivery Methods

Delivery methods may include:

  • Tilt-bed truck delivery

  • Crane-assisted placement (if required)

Special placement requests must be disclosed before delivery and may incur additional fees.


Delivery Fees

International & Cross-Border Shipping (Canada)

For deliveries to Canada:

  • Customers are responsible for customs clearance, duties, taxes, and import fees

  • Delivery timelines may be extended due to border processing

Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers must inspect the container at the time of delivery.

If any issues are found:

  • Note them immediately with the driver (if applicable)
  • Take clear photos
  • Contact XPO Shipping Containers within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may void eligibility for claims.


Risk of Loss

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery and acceptance of the container at the delivery location.


Delays Beyond Our Control

  • Severe weather
  • Traffic or road restrictions
  • Acts of God
  • Carrier or third-party logistics delays
  • Government or border delays
