Refund/Return Policy Overview

Due to the size, nature, and logistics of shipping containers, returns are limited and subject to strict conditions.


At XPO Shipping Containers, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to providing a transparent and fair return and refund process in accordance with Google Merchant Center standards for the United States.


Return Window

  • Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery
  • Return requests submitted after 30 days will not be accepted

Return Eligibility

A shipping container may be eligible for return if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is submitted within 30 days of delivery
  • The container remains in substantially the same condition as delivered
  • The container has not been structurally modified
  • The container is located at or near the original delivery location
  • The return reason is clearly stated
  • Supporting photos and documentation are provided when requested

All return requests are subject to review and approval.


Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom-modified or built-to-order containers
  • Container offices or completed build-outs
  • Containers sold as “As-Is”
  • Containers damaged due to misuse, relocation, or customer handling
  • Containers altered after delivery

Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Submit photos if requested
  4. Await return authorization and instructions

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


Refund Policy

Approved Returns

If a return is approved:

  • The customer is responsible for return transportation costs
  • A restocking fee may apply depending on condition and logistics
  • Refunds are issued within 7–10 business days after the returned container is received and inspected
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method

Refunds Before Delivery

A full refund may be issued if:

  • The order is canceled before shipment
  • The container has not left our facility
  • No customization or modification work has begun

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your container arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • You must notify us within 7 days of delivery
  • Photos of the issue must be provided
  • The container must remain unused and unaltered

If approved, we may offer:

  • Repair assistance
  • Partial refund
  • Replacement (subject to availability)

Non-Refundable Costs

The following costs are non-refundable:

  • Delivery and transportation charges
  • Crane, tilt, or special placement fees
  • Permit or access-related fees
  • Third-party service charges
